Emma Rodero

Hey I'm
Emma...

I’m Emma Rodero, full professor of Neurocommunication at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona and director of the Media Psychology Lab, where I study how the brain processes communication. With almost 30 years of experience, a double PhD in Communication and Psychology, and a TED Talk that has inspired millions, I help professionals and organizations master high-stakes communication.

My method blends scientific research with practical tools to help you refine your voice, speak with confidence, manage public speaking anxiety, and lead with influence. Whether you’re a CEO, executive, professional, or public figure, I offer personalized training that delivers real, measurable results.

When I’m not in the lab or working with clients, you’ll likely find me playing basketball, walking by the sea, or hiking in nature. And if you see me in a hat — that’s just part of who I am.

Her professionalism, motivation, and outstanding ability to lead a team make you wish the projects would never end so you can keep learning from her. Moreover, Emma consistently stays up to date with the content she researches and disseminates, aiming to reach a broad audience in the most engaging way possible. Listening to her speak is always hypnotic, and her oratory is impeccable. In all the talks, classes, and lectures I have had the pleasure to attend, she offers advice that is worth its weight in gold—whether for professional or personal purposes—to help develop excellent public-speaking skills

I worked with Emma Rodero at the Media Psychology Lab and also took her Public Speaking course at UPF, where I learned how to craft speeches that truly captivate an audience and the key elements for keeping their attention. Beyond being a wonderful experience, her approach — deeply theoretical yet above all practical — helped me internalize all these resources. To this day, I still use everything I learned from her in my work as a communication professional.

Silvia Ciurana

 Commercial Voiceover Artist

I discovered Emma through one of her books. I was fortunate to have her give me radio voiceover lessons, and she even taught me how to create interview-style advertising scripts. I couldn’t have launched that new professional venture without her help. In just two months she turned a world that was completely unknown to me into my profession—a career that has lasted 15 years. When she explains how the voice works—its different intensities and tones—you clearly see everything you can achieve with it and how it can change the meaning of words. She’s a gifted teacher, an excellent voiceover artist, and above all, a wonderful person.
